CCTV footage of two women was released after a woman was crushed on the head with a bottle of wine.

A Tube passenger was left with a deep cut on the side of her forehead after the assault.

Things took a turn for the worse when the victim was accused of “looking” at two women sitting across from her.

They then “got aggressive” before one of the alleged assailants “approached” the victim.

A person allegedly hit the lone passenger on the head with a bottle of wine he was carrying.

This happened on a Northern Line train around 12:30 am on June 17th.

The two women got off the tube at Golders Green tube station.

A spokesman for the UK Transport Police said: ‘Officers believe the CCTV footage may have information that could aid their investigation. “
