CCI France Philippines reaches new heights for “Behind the kitchens” celebration – .

The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines (CCIFP), in collaboration with the French Embassy in the Philippines and Micronesia, presents “Behind the Cuisines”, a two-day virtual event that aims to explore the current situation of the F&B industry in the Philippines, as well as supporting French and Filipino restaurateurs, food retailers, distributors and local farmers who have been negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Discovering French and Filipino culture

“Behind the Kitchens” is offering a webinar on “The Changing Phases of the Food and Beverage Industry: Defining the New Food Standard” (registration required) on October 22, 2 pm to 5 pm. The day will be a series of high-level online conversations with key individuals from both the public and private sectors to brief everyone on the current state of the F&B industry in the country, key ideas and practices presented by leading companies and main market trends.

It follows a live cooking segment for the second part of his series, “A Fusion of French and Filipino Flavors” with Erwan Heussaff, which provides a platform for different French and Filipino food companies to showcase their products and services. in this uncertain time. This virtual event will take place on October 23 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will be broadcast live on the CCIFP Facebook page:

Overall, the CCIFP envisions that the two days of the event will complement each other by: first, conveying vital information regarding the current state of the F&B industry in the Philippines; and second, to provide the public with means on how they can, at home, help support French and Filipino food businesses affected by the pandemic, while celebrating both cultures.
