The Buffalo Bills and the Tennessee Titans face off tonight in a rematch of the 2020 regular season… and the 2019 regular season… and also the 2018 regular season. Buffalo has won the first two of those three games of downright ugly way, beating the Titans 13-12 in 2018, then 14-7 in 2019. Last year’s game was in the Titans’ favor, as Tennessee put wood to our bills by notching a 42 victory. -16.
Last year the Bills suffered a plethora of injuries while playing in Tennessee; however, this year’s bills are a healthy bunch. That means the Buffalo Scratches tonight are all of the healthy variety.
Which players are missing for Buffalo tonight? Here is the full list of inactive players.
RB Matt Breida
For the fourth consecutive week, Breida is inactive. Taiwan Jones (hamstring) missed a bit of time this week in training, but the special teams mainstay is active this week.
OT Tommy Doyle
Buffalo’s second rookie offensive lineman is a nasty scratch this week. The Bills will roll with Ike Boettger, Cody Ford and Ryan Bates as offensive backup linemen.
DE AJ Epenesa
Last week, the Bills left two defensive tackles idle since playing against the passing Kansas City Chiefs. This week, it’s the edge rushers’ turn to go a little light. Not letting Epenesa dress is a bit of a headache, as he’s been pretty good this year.
LE Boogie Basham
See above. Even though Basham played well, he will be in favor of a fourth defensive tackle on the roster. Harrison Phillips is active after being seated last week.
DT Vernon Butler
Butler’s time at Buffalo quickly turned into Trent Murphy’s territory, as the high-priced veteran is once again a healthy scratch.
