Food products sold in major UK supermarkets have been taken off shelves over fears they contain plastic or ingredients not listed on the label.
The Food Standards Agency has published an updated list of products, including lamb moussaka, ice cream and mushroom burgers, with Asda, Morrison, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose among the stores affected.

The watchdog said the presence of plastic or unlisted allergenic ingredients, including eggs and milk, could pose a health risk to anyone who consumes them.
