André Lloyd Webber said he didn’t like the 2019 film version of Cats so much that he bought a “therapy dog.”
The theater manager said he was “emotionally affected” by the star-studded big-screen adaptation of his classic musical, which he described as “badly off the scale.”
The film, directed by Tom Hooper, was a critical and commercial flop, with reviews focusing on CGI effects, plot, and acting performances.
