Mum-of-eight, Amanda, 47, has spent time away from the family at their nearby rental property, it has been claimed.
Meanwhile, Clive, 66, is said to be “desperate” to mend their relationship.
It comes as Amanda, who stars on Channel 5’s hit show Our Yorkshire Farm, is set to publish a new book about her family life in the countryside.
A source told The Sun: “It’s incredibly sad. Amanda and Clive are two extremely popular characters here in the Dales, and no one saw that coming.
“Clive loves Amanda in pieces and loves her, and fears that the marriage will fail even if he desperately doesn’t want to.” He fears they are divorcing. »
The insider went on to suggest that Clive “considers the image of them playing happy families to be a load of garbage” and that this will be their last TV series so they can put their kids first.
They kept saying that Clive wanted them to stay together for Christmas, but after that “the decision is in Amanda’s hands.”
The Mirror has reached out to representatives for the couple for comment.
Amanda’s publicist previously told the publication on October 12, “Amanda and Clive haven’t separated and Amanda hasn’t left the family home. “
However, Amanda was reportedly seen near their rental property, a source suggesting the split has “become the talking point in the village.”
They continued, “Obviously everyone around them is hoping they can work things out, and a largely happy 21-year marriage won’t end up playing out in divorce courts. “
The insider called it a “public relations nightmare” because he wouldn’t be “on the mark” if they divorce.
Amanda and Clive first became famous in 2011 with their children Raven, 20, Reuben, 17, Miles, 15, Edith, 12, Violet, ten, Sidney, nine, Annas, seven, Clemmie, five, and Nancy, four on ITV. The Dales with Ade Edmondson.
