Adele pulls back and hides behind her bag as her song is played during a basketball game – .

Adele hid behind her bag when she heard her new song Easy On Me played at a basketball game she attended with her boyfriend Rich Paul.

The top of the charts, 33, was watching a game between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center when the familiar opening chords were played on the tannoy.

Adele, stunning in brown leather, hid behind her small Louis Vuitton bag as she pretended to sing to the crowd trying to hide her face from the TV cameras.

The award-winning star, who at one point was draped in a Louis Vuitton coat, looked super glamorous sitting next to her sports agent boyfriend, whom she met at a party a few years ago.

Adele would be madly enraged for her boyfriend if she told Vogue, “Rich has just arrived incredibly.

“I don’t feel anxious or nervous or exhausted [with him]. It’s quite the opposite. It’s wild. I am a 33 year old divorced mother of a son, who is in fact responsible.

“The last thing I need is someone who doesn’t know where he is or what he wants. And I really know what i don’t want.

Rich is Adele’s first public and high-profile romance since her divorce from husband Simon Konecki – whom she married in 2016, separated in 2019, and finalized their divorce this year.

Easy On Me is the first single from the forthcoming album from the mom of one, 30, and is essentially about the breakup of the couple.

After officially separating from her ex-husband, the theme of the new record is clear: “Divorce, baby, divorce”.

Adele said it herself on Instagram Live.

The heartfelt ballad explores both regret and healing with lyrics such as: And there is hope in these waters, but I can’t bring myself to swim when I’m drowning. “

The track has already gone stratospheric and has recorded 149,865 chart sales, with the total set to increase before this week’s official top 40 is announced on Friday.

However, despite the success of her cathartic song, Adele once said that making a divorce record “would be really bad.”

In 2011, upon releasing her album 21, Adele spoke to Alan Carr on her Channel 4 show Chatty Man.

When asked why all of his albums were about breakups, the Tottenham-born star admitted that it had become a “common theme so far” in his music.

She then added, “But I hope I don’t get married and be like ‘honey, we need a divorce’, I need to write another album or nothing.

“It would be really bad, wouldn’t it.
