Adam Woodyatt’s ex-wife is reportedly “furious” with the EastEnders star after he allegedly signed a six-figure deal with I’m A Celeb as she “fought for money.”
The 53-year-old soap star, who plays Ian Beale, has signed a contract to appear on the ITV reality series amid his ongoing divorce from Bev Sharp.

Bev, who shares two children with Adam, reportedly “struggles” according to a friend, and was spotted buying discounted food, including bread, a fish pie and a quiche during a recent trip to stores.

She is said to be in financial difficulty and has received food packages from her worried family.

Meanwhile, rumor has it that Adam would join I’m A Celeb and it is alleged that he signed a £ 250,000 contract to appear on the show before their divorce is settled.

A source told The Sun: “She’s really struggling

“Bev looked at her luck a little tall and lonely.

“You can see the yellow stickers used when food products are reaching the end of their expiration date. “

A friend of Bev’s added: “She’s really struggled financially and recently relied on food donations from family and friends. “

They said she would “get hers back” by having her vote number for the Bushtucker trials on the speed dial.

A source previously told the publication that he would have been given an ‘exceptional pay deal’ to appear in the ITV reality series – which is set to return to Wales next month.

He left the BBC soap opera earlier this year – his character running away from Albert Square after a childhood friend-turned-wife Sharon Watts, played by Letitia Dean, attempted to kill him in revenge for the death of his son, Den – whose death was partly that of Ian. foul after locking Den inside a sinking boat.

Adam revealed earlier this year that he will be taking an extended leave of absence from the show after decades of service through thousands of episodes.

And his hiatus from the series would last until the New Year, which means his character will be out of Albert Square until 2022.

Joining the cast of I’m A Celeb will see the TV star join other famous faces as they sleep in the icy shadow of Gwrych Castle in Wales and take on the Bush Tucker Trials.

TV icon Richard Madeley has been unveiled as a contender for the 2021 series.

The Mirror has contacted Adam’s rep for comment.
