The city of Toronto is hosting a number of mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics in city malls this weekend.

The campaign, titled #ShopAndVax, is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to make vaccines as accessible as possible.

The following clinics will be held on Saturday September 25 and Sunday September 26 between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m.

  • CF Fairview Shopping Center – 1800 Sheppard Avenue East.
  • CF Sherway Gardens – 25 The West Mall
  • CF Stores in Don Mills – 1090 Don Mills Road.
  • CF Toronto Eaton Centre – 220, rue Yonge
  • Centre commercial Yorkdale – 3401, rue Dufferin

All clinics will offer the first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines.

The city has partnered with Toronto Public Health, University Health Network, Cadillac Fairview Corp. Ltd. and Oxford Properties Group to accommodate the mobile clinics.

“The clinics were selected as part of the Toronto team’s mobile strategy data approach to continue breaking down barriers and bringing vaccines to residents in areas and settings that have low vaccination coverage,” or who are at high risk of contracting COVID-19, or both, ”city officials said in a press release on Friday.

In addition to the clinics in the mall, more than 25 other mobile vaccination clinics are open throughout the city.

So far, nearly 85 percent of Toronto residents aged 12 and older have received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and more than 79 percent have received two doses and are fully immunized.
