Health Minister Christine Elliott said 159 of those cases involved people who were fully vaccinated and the rest are not vaccinated or their vaccination status is unknown.

There are 184 people in intensive care units due to COVID-19 – seven of them are fully vaccinated, 11 are partially vaccinated, 102 are unvaccinated, and the immunization status of 64 people is unknown.

Today, 135 new school-related cases have been reported, the majority among students.

More than a third of new cases today are in people between the ages of 20 and 39.

About 86 percent of eligible Ontarians have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and about 80 percent have received both.
