It’s Friday, and that means it’s time for the final injury reports for the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks as we get closer to the 2021 home opener for purple at US Bank Stadium. Let’s take a look at the two injury reports, starting with the visitor side.
Seattle Seahawks Injury Report Week 3
The Seahawks ruled out three players for Sunday’s game, although I’m not sure what the impact of their absences is. Eskridge is an exciting young rookie but suffered a concussion in Week 1 and also missed last week’s game. The Seahawks have also allocated some veteran rest days among some of their players, so those players were not included in our version of the injury report.
And now it’s time for the home team.

Three players also declared “withdrawn” for the Vikings before this one. Mike Zimmer said he felt good about Barr’s situation despite missing his 17th game in a row. No matter. Darrisaw looks set to finally be back, which will help strengthen the offensive line.
Most important, of course, is Dalvin Cook. This is a testament to his importance that he had three “DNPs” this week and that he is still only listed as “questionable”. We’ve been saying all week that it looks like Mike Zimmer is expecting Cook to play this week, but it makes it look like he’s going to be the dreaded ‘playtime decision’ and the drama will stretch all the way to the top. ‘that the inactive go out 90 minutes before kick-off on Sunday.
These are your last injury reports for the Vikings and Seahawks ahead of Sunday’s home opener in Minneapolis, folks. We’ll have more on this one closer to kickoff.
