Amazon delivery driver warns of common mistakes outside homes that “put lives at risk” – .

Is your house clearly numbered or does it have a sign with the name of the property?

If the answer is no, you may want to consider finding a way to display your number outside as soon as possible, as it could save your life one day.

This warning comes from a caring Amazon delivery driver from the United States who was captured by a doorbell camera explaining why it is important to have house markers.

The woman was delivering a package to the house Jessica Huseman had just moved into, although the package appears to be intended for the former tenant, Jennifer.

In a clip shared on TikTok, the Amazon driver walks up to the house and drops off the delivery outside.

You can hear her say in a singing voice, “Hello Jennifer, I hope your Monday is going well. You have no marker on your house that indicates which number you are.

“And it’s hard to find your house, man, and it’s dangerous, honestly.” And if you needed medical assistance and the paramedics weren’t familiar with your city, come on.

” Have a nice day! “

Jess captioned the post, “We just moved in and it happened today… she’s not wrong though.” I guess I need to get house numbers. “

And that’s not the only important safety tip the Amazon worker needs to share.

After the post went viral, the delivery driver revealed himself and also joined TikTok.

The 28-year-old’s name is Kelsey, and she’s shared other safety and crisis prevention tips on her account, where she’s amassed thousands of followers in just a few days as people love her attitude.

In a follow-up video, she shared another look at the original doorbell clip and explained, “Just one thing I notice when I head to baby housekeeping.

“Other things I notice: unclear entrances and exits, what if you have to leave your house or EMS has to enter your house?”

“Thinking of the cleared lanes, I often see a lot of bikes, like children’s bikes next to the front doors, which scare me.

“I used to work at ResLife and Student Affairs, so crisis management and prevention education are essential and literally part of my soul, so every time I go out and deliver packages or make deliveries, if I see something, I say something. “

Thousands of people took the time to comment on the videos, many praising the Amazon worker for helping “save lives.”

One person wrote: “Retired nurse. She is 100% right. Protect yourself and place big numbers on your house and mailbox. If it’s up front, spray paint on the sidewalk as well. “

“She is a person who cares about people, we need more of her,” proclaimed another.

Someone else posted, “Not all heroes wear capes… delivered with a safety song message. Amazing service !!!
