AEW Makes ‘Permanent’ Change in Rampage’s Commentary Booth – .

It looks like a change is being made to the AEW Rampage comment team.

Rampage is a new show for AEW that has only aired for a month. It didn’t take long for the show to get a two-hour special. This will be the AEW Grand Slam edition of Rampage which airs on September 24 via a tape delay.

Fans took notice of the commentary team for the September 17 edition of Rampage. Ricky Starks joined Taz, Chris Jericho and Excalibur. Usually Mark Henry is in the booth, but instead he just had an interview before the main event.

Speaking to Wrestle Talk, Starks claimed he is now a permanent member of Rampage’s comment team.

“I’m really proud of AEW, of the work I have done at AEW and the work that I continue to do. And the fact that I think they like me so much that they made me a permanent commentator for Rampage, replacing Mark (Henry).

F4W reports that while there is a change at the Rampage booth, that’s not what Starks claims. The report notes that instead, AEW uses a rotating team of commentators. At this time, it’s unclear why AEW decided to accept this change.
