Volunteer Marshal dies after Brands Hatch incident – .

A volunteer Brands Hatch Classic Motor Circuit marshal died on Saturday following an incident at a British Automobile Racing Club (BARC) car championship.
According to Sky News, the marshal was struck by a car that left the track, and police and air ambulance were called to the circuit on Saturday afternoon.

BARC said in a statement: “The British Automobile Racing Club is saddened to confirm that following an accident at a racing meeting at the Brands Hatch circuit today, a volunteer commissioner has tragically lost his life. The rest of the race day the activity was canceled.
