In an Instagram post, the 47-year-old TV host and interior designer said she was on day five of her battle with the disease.
Gorder noted that the coronavirus was not something she took lightly and that she was fully vaccinated against the virus with the Pfizer vaccine in March.
“We were actually more careful than anyone I knew,” she wrote in her post, which was accompanied by a photo of her in bed.
She added, “Guys, Delta is ab * # • h! “
Gorder then urged his unvaccinated supporters to follow his lead and get vaccinated against COVID-19.
“I can’t begin to imagine what it would be like without the vaccine and for that I’m grateful,” she continued. “To all of you who are not getting vaccinated… please, I beg you to go get vaccinated today, it would be unbearable without it. Hide everyone. See you in a few weeks. “
The Delta variant has led to an increase in COVID-19 cases across the country, prompting an increase in vaccination in areas that have seen large increases.
Florida reported a record high number of more than 21,000 new cases of the coronavirus on Friday. The Sunshine State has become a hotspot in the United States
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) earlier this week announced a new mask guideline recommending that vaccinated people wear a mask indoors if they are in an area that has seen an increase in cases of COVID-19.
The direction came after data collected from an outbreak in Massachusetts revealed that the delta variant broke through vaccine protection.
