Princess Eugenie may be the only person who can bring her ‘favorite cousin’ Harry and wife Meghan Markle back to the royal fold, experts say.

While royal author Nigel Cawthorne thinks the princess could act as a “neutral intermediary” and “convey with absolute discretion messages which are not heard by courtiers in general”.

But the writer behind 2020 Prince Andrew: Epstein and the Palace – on Eugenie’s father – admitted to the Daily Mail that it would be difficult for the Sussexes to return.

“Right now it’s hard to see how anyone could bring Harry and Meghan back into the fold,” he explained.

He said the Duke of York had a similar rivalry with his older brother Prince Charles as Harry shares with William, but he has always known ‘where the red lines are’.
