he tragedy occurred at around 10:15 p.m. on the road from Finglas to Glasnevin on Saturday July 31, 2021.
He was rushed to Mater Hospital with another victim, but was sadly pronounced dead afterwards.
Another teenager who was a passenger on one of the bikes was injured in the collision and is being treated in hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The driver of the car was not injured. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
Garda Forensic Collision investigators have completed their investigation and the road is now reopened.
Gardaí calls on all those who witnessed this collision to come forward. All road users who were traveling on Finglas Road on Saturday July 31 between 10:10 p.m. and 10:25 p.m. and who may have camera images (including the on-board camera) are requested to make them available to Gardaí.
