The young right-back is believed to be the subject of a £ 5million offer from Everton, who wants to bring the 19-year-old to Goodison Park.
Patterson was James Tavernier’s understudy at Ibrox, with his only appearance of the season in a Dunfermline Premier Sports Cup rout.
However, he is a player Rangers see as a huge prospect for the future and the manager insists he has not been made aware of any offers.
Asked about the reported offer, Gerrard said, “Not to my knowledge.
“I’m sure the right person will tell me if that’s the case and if there is some truth to it.
“I hear a lot of noise and a lot of rumors. We talk a lot about our players.
“The only people I listen to in this situation are Ross Wilson and the board. If offers come in and they are respectable, we will discuss them. ”
Patterson has only made 17 appearances for the Rangers, but has been named as the team’s future first player for several years.
He has been selected twice by Scotland, including an appearance against Croatia at Euro 2020.
