American actress Sharon Stone talks about threats she received to lose her job because she refused to go to work with unvaccinated people around her.
In a video shared by Deadline For her run as a hopeful member of the SAG-AFTRA National Board of Directors, the actor shared that she was threatened with losing her job in Atlanta for insisting that everyone on set be vaccinated against COVID-19.
“Am I going to go to work before everyone on my show gets vaccinated?” No. No, I won’t, ”she said.
“Am I threatened with losing my job? Yes. Yes I am. Will I lose my job if not everyone is vaccinated on my show? Yes. that we continue is vaccinated? Yes. Yes, I will, ”she added.
She went on to say that it was “ridiculous… that we have to go to work where we are not safe to work”.
“I stand up for all of us when I say that the Screen Actors Guild – which I will be working with Membership First for – will be safe so we can go to work,” she said.
The actor added that she “wasn’t going to work until all of our sets were vaccinated.” And neither should you. “
