Ontario Reports Over 500 New Cases of Coronavirus for 4th Day in a Row – .


Ontario is reporting more than 500 new cases of COVID-19 for the fourth day in a row, bringing the seven-day moving average of new cases to 440 today.

Ontario is reporting 511 new cases of COVID-19 today, up from 578 on Saturday but up from 423 last week.

Today’s seven-day moving average is up from 428 Saturday and 261 last Sunday.

The number of virus-related deaths in the province is unchanged at 9,418, with no new deaths reported today.

With just over 19,000 tests completed in the past 24 hours, the province-wide positivity rate is now 2.6%, up from 2% last week.

Of the new cases reported today, 350 are unvaccinated people and 67 are partially vaccinated people.

There were 116 new cases of COVID-19 in Toronto today, 69 in Peel Region and 64 in York Region.

The number of COVID-19 patients in intensive care units in Ontario hospitals is now 116, up one from last Sunday.
