Nick Khan Clarifies His ‘Open For Business’ Line On WWE Selling – .

As we reported earlier this week, Nick Khan responded to a question about the possibility of selling WWE saying the company was “open for business” and willing to listen to the offers. However, he clarified his words in an interview with Ariel Helwani for BT Sport, which will be released tomorrow.

He said: ” When I say “we’re open for business” it means if someone credible calls for anything: NFT, collectible cards, international rights; we take the call. We are inherently salespeople, which means we are not the “No, we don’t want to talk to this company” type. If you’re calling and want to pitch something to us and you’re a credible company, we’ll hear the pitch. We are an entrepreneurial business that Vince and others have built over the past 35 years or so and we always want to stay fresh and entrepreneurial in our minds. When I say “open for business,” if someone calls, believably, asking, “Hey, are you up for sale?” »What is your offer? What are you thinking about ? We are not trying to sell it. It is not our intention. There are no internal meetings on the sale of this business. These are internal meetings about growth and the ability that we collectively believe we have to significantly increase the current value of the business. People are calling all the time for a lot of different things, but we’re not in active conversations about it. »
