List of potential COVID-19 exposure for August 1 – .



Health Nova Scotia advises anyone who has visited or worked at any of the locations during the stated hours to book a COVID-19 test, whether or not they are showing symptoms.

Nova Scotia Health Public Health is advising of potential exposure to COVID-19 at Central Zone locations and from two Air Canada flights. In addition to press releases, all notifications of potential exposure are listed here.

Anyone who has worked or visited the following locations on the specified dates and times should click here to book a COVID-19 test, whether or not they have symptoms. You can also call 811 if you do not have online access or if you have other symptoms that concern you.

For the following locations, if you don’t have any symptoms of COVID-19, you don’t need to self-isolate while you wait for your test result. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, you should self-isolate while you wait for your test result.

  • Home Depot (368 Lacewood Drive) July 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated may develop symptoms until August 13 inclusive.
  • Costco (230 Chain Lake Drive) July 30 from 12 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated may develop symptoms until August 13 inclusive.
  • Tomavo (215 Chain Lake Drive) July 30 between 12:35 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the date indicated may develop symptoms until August 13 inclusive.

Anyone who was on the next flight in the rows and seats specified should click here to book a COVID-19 test, whether or not they have symptoms of COVID-19. You can also call 811 if you do not have online access or if you have other symptoms that concern you. All other passengers on this flight should continue to self-isolate as needed and watch for signs and symptoms of COVID-19.

In case of full or partial vaccination, please follow the instructions in this table for high risk contacts.

  • Air Canada 668 traveling July 24 from Montreal (8:48 p.m.) to Halifax (10:48 a.m.). Passengers in rows 13 to 19, seats C, D, E and F are asked to book a COVID-19 test. It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus during this flight on the date indicated may develop symptoms until August 7 inclusive.
  • Air Canada 604 traveling July 30 from Toronto (8:30 a.m.) to Halifax (11:38 p.m.). Passengers in rows 2 to 13, seats C, D, E and F are asked to book a COVID-19 test. It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus during this flight on the date indicated may develop symptoms until August 13 inclusive.

Please note:
Do not go directly to a COVID-19 assessment center uninvited. Please make an appointment online or call 811 and do not go to a pop-up quick test location.

Nova Scotians can also access their results online here. To be eligible to receive results online, by email, or by auto-call, you must bring a provincial health card or student card with you to your testing appointment. It may take up to 72 hours to receive or access test results. It is not uncommon for two or more family members to be tested at the same time and receive results at different times.

Currently, anyone traveling to Nova Scotia from outside Atlantic Canada must follow self-isolation instructions based on their immunization status. See details here.
