Kathy Griffin provides post-surgery update: “Grateful for all the love”

Kathy Griffin shared with her fans on Twitter on Tuesday that she had been successfully operated on.

The update came after the 60-year-old comedian revealed her diagnosis of lung cancer over the weekend.

“Wow! I’m so grateful for all the love you send me, ”Griffin wrote on his social media account. “My cancer operation went well yesterday. Phew. “

Griffin also revealed that she was “nervous” to talk about her addiction to pills and her thoughts of suicide.

Griffin had revealed on Monday that she had had a lump on her recently enlarged lung for years and was undergoing surgery to remove it. The actress said her doctors were “optimistic” about her recovery.

“The doctors are very optimistic because this is the first stage and contained in my left lung. I hope there will be no chemotherapy or radiation therapy after this and my breathing should be working normally. I should be up and running as usual in a month or less. I’ve been trying to get back to work for four years and make you laugh and entertain you, but it’s going to be okay, ”she said.

Griffin then reminded people to “stay up to date” with their medicals.
