Jason Aldean mourns the loss of his longtime friend who also worked as a security guard for many years when he went on tour.
The country music star, 44, took to Instagram on Wednesday and shared a heartbreaking tribute to Ryan ‘Rhino’ Fleming, which included a series of photos of them on the road over the years, after his dead.
“Dude, this is a hard article to write. We lost one of our boys today, ”Aldean began in the caption of the photos with obvious emotion escaping from his words.

Aldean then shared details about his friend and their close relationship.
“Ryan Fleming aka @ rhinolin3 was a friend I grew up with in Georgia. He was a bouncer at our favorite bar in Macon when he was 18, then went to work for the sheriff’s department as he got older, ”the Truth singer continued.
“When the time came for me to hire a security guard who I knew would always watch over me and my family, I had no doubt that person was Rhino. He went out and traveled the world with us and for years, if you saw me, Rhino wasn’t too far away. ‘

Man of Courage: Aldean went on to reveal that Rhino was the man who pulled him from the stage when gunfire erupted at the Route 91 Harvest Country music festival in Las Vegas on October 1, 2017, which killed 60 people and injured nearly 900 others.
Aldean then revealed that Rhino was on the side of the stage. when gunshots erupted while he was playing at the Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival in Las Vegas on the evening of October 1, 2017.
“This is the person who pulled me off the stage while filming Route 91 and put his life in danger to take care of me and my team,” he explained.
The shooter, a 64-year-old man from Mesquite, Nevada, opened fire on the crowd of fans from his suite on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
In the end, 60 people were killed, over 400 were injured, but with the panic that followed, the number of injured rose to 867.

She ended the post by writing: ‘We will all miss you brother and thank you for supporting me all these years. We love you Rhino! TEAR.’
Soon after, Aldean shared a photo of Rhino watching him perform from the side of the stage, as he had done so many times during their life together on tour.
“Thank you Rhinoceros! See you on the road someday, brother. RIP, ”he wrote in the caption with a red heart emoji.
So far, Aldean has not released any statement regarding Ryan Fleming’s cause of death.
