Fans loved seeing the family sharing their couch with the adorable, rather large dogs who often stole the show with their antics.
But on Saturday night, the family shared the heartbreaking news of Izzey’s death, the Mirror reports.
Paying tribute to Izzey, the family shared on Instagram a photo of Daddy Tom sitting on their couch with their pooch.
“Our beautiful daughter Izzey, RIP xx,” they wrote alongside heartbroken emojis.
“We will miss you and your gentle manners so much.”
“Thank you for taking care of the grandchildren x”
Tom and Julie’s son Shaun also paid tribute to Izzey.
“It was time to say goodbye to our daughter Izzy today, the perfect example of a family dog,” he wrote in his Instagram story.
Tom Jr. wrote to his fans, “Very sorry to let you know that unfortunately Izzey passed away today. She was a wonderful dog and will be sadly missed. “
Fans of the Channel 4 show were quick to rush to pay tribute to the Rottweiler, with one writing: “Nooooooooon !!!!!! A beautiful animal is emptied to us !!! For your loss. “
“Rip Izzey, I love seeing dogs on Gogglebox,” added another.
A third shared: “Noooooo rip sweet lady”, and a fourth wrote: “So sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter. Rest in peace Izzey. “
The Malones have three other dogs – Lucy, Joe, and Dave, who arguably have the most screen time on Gogglebox and often wreak havoc on the family couch.
When her daughter Vanessa shared a photo of the entire Malone family at the christening of her three children Brogan, Saoirse and Carsen, fans asked where the series star Dave was.
Channel 4 has yet to announce when the hit show will return for another series.
