Speaking in an exclusive interview with Brian Wohl of Wrestling Inc., RAW superstar Doudrop praised Molly Holly’s leadership behind the scenes.
“Obviously I was a huge wrestling fan growing up, so working with her was like a dream come true,” said Doudrop. “Talking to him, getting his point of view, having part of his experience was very useful to me. You try to chat with everyone, but you absolutely have to have a woman’s point of view because let’s face it, there aren’t many of us.
While many contribute to the production of each contest, it’s hard to find a women’s match without TJ Wilson’s DNA. Former Tyson Kidd is widely regarded as one of the best producers in the game today, especially for his work with female talent.
Doudrop notes that TJ is often the first person someone in the women’s division goes to for comment.
“He’s such a brilliant mind. We think about things, we go to him and we talk about him. He’ll say, ‘Okay, what about that?’ Doudrop said. “And he’s going to run him over and I’m just like, I can’t believe I’ve been wrestling for about 12 years now and haven’t seen him from that point of view.” He’s just a wrestling genius.
Doudrop will be around Eva Marie this Saturday when she takes on Alexa Bliss in WWE Slam summer.
