Cheryl’s brother Andrew Tweedy, 41, has revealed he lives in a tent across the street.

The worlds of the two siblings couldn’t be further apart with the singer, 38, having an estimated fortune of £ 35million and living in a £ 3.7million mansion in Hertfordshire, while Andrew begs for money and survives on alms.

Speaking to The Sun, Cheryl’s beleaguered brother said the singer – who has made numerous attempts to clean it up, including funding a £ 20,000 stay in rehab to solve his drug problems – didn’t probably no idea he’s homeless.

Andrew continues to struggle with drug and alcohol addiction, despite many attempts to help his younger sister Cheryl.

The Girls Aloud star has never publicly mentioned her grief over Andrew, but has acknowledged her undisputed support on several occasions.

Speaking from his prison cell in 2008, he told the Sunday Mirror: “Cheryl wants to help me – but I’ve gone too far. I know I’m breaking his heart, but I’m not strong enough to get through it.

“It tears me to think that I am hurting my little sister so much. I told Cheryl that she should be ashamed of me, but she says she loves me and will never give up on me.

She was reportedly “paralyzed with concern” about her older brother and was seen going secretly to prison while he was serving a sentence for a robbery with violence.

“She came by herself,” Andrew said. “She looked so sad and tired, totally different from what she looks like on TV or singing on stage… It broke my heart to see her so cut up. “

According to reports at the time, Cheryl held her brother’s hand during a visit to the prison and begged him to let her and her former husband Ashley Cole pay for his rehabilitation.

But the Newcastle native rejected the offer. He admitted that she was behind him “every step of the way,” but refused help because he was afraid of letting her down.

Although brutally honest about his own failures, he said in 2008 that he hopes to one day get his life back together and thank Cheryl for all her kindness.
