Bucs well represented at NFL Top 100 first night – .

The defending champions are on track to set a record for the most players on a team to make the NFL Top 100, an annual countdown of the best NFL players as decided by their fellow players.

NFL Network debuted with the numbers 100-41 on Sunday night and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers called six players. The record, you might be wondering, is seven that the Saints and Ravens hit in last year’s countdown.

For the Bucs, only numbers 100-41 set a team record for most players to appear on the roster and there will certainly be more to come. Announced the night a were;

89 – RT, Tristan Wirfs

88 – OLB, Shaquil Barrett

81 – WR, Chris Godwin

59 – OLB, Jason Pierre-Paul

48 – WR, Mike Evans

43 – LB, Lavonte David

Mike Evans, Shaquil Barrett and Chris Godwin have suffered drops in their 2020 rankings, but they will happily do so in exchange for the ring they received last month. On the other hand, David jumped to 43 from 100 last year.

With the numbers 40-11 revealed on Sunday August 22 and the top ten on Saturday August 28, there is no doubt that there will likely still be a few Buccaneers to announce. In fact, there is still a certain quarterback who has yet to be named and he will join Aaron Rodgers as the only two remaining players to feature on every NFL Top 100 list that the NFL Network has shown. . Last year Larry Fitzgerald and Drew Brees joined them, but without any players on this year’s roster, only Brady and Rodgers remain.

On the other hand, who could be snubbed? Is Devin White going to be completely excluded from this list? Or did he beat his tag team partner and land somewhere in the top 40?

Let us know in the comments below who was too high, too low, and who you think could still land in the Buccaneers’ top 40.
