Britney Spears is getting candid with her fans about weight loss.

In an Instagram post on Friday, the “Toxic” singer shared close-up photos of her face, showcasing her slim look.

“It’s really weird every time I try to lose weight, it usually starts with my legs first… then my stomach… then my face… and that’s when I know I’ve lost weight !!!! Spears began in the caption of the post.

“When you go to the second pic you can really see how thin my face is, but I’m not sure I like it,” Spears admitted before explaining why.

“In the old days, when women were heavier, they were considered more attractive to men because it was a sign of wealth !!!! She declared.

Spears went on to say that she had “a few comeback dances from this summer” where she “looked heavier”. “But it’s weird because I think I was happier !!!! Lances added.

Fans were quick to praise the pop star. “You are beautiful no matter what you weigh,” one person wrote. “You are perfect the way you are,” said another.

Earlier on Friday, Spears posted a video showing her dance moves. The 39-year-old musician wore a black lace catsuit to the post office.

On Thursday, Spears’ father Jamie agreed to step down as curator of the “Gimme More” singer once a proper plan is in place, Fox News confirmed.

Spears has yet to comment publicly on his father’s decision.

The two have been locked in a legal battle over the past few years as the singer struggles to regain control of her life.

Jamie has been in control of Spears since 2009 after suffering a series of involuntary psychiatric detentions.
