Vaccine protesters tried to storm a studio at the BBC Television Center in west London.
A video shared online shows a crowd, suspected of protesting against vaccine passports and children’s vaccines, attempting to enter the White City compound.

The footage appeared to show dozens of protesters gathering in nearby Shepherds Bush Green before marching on the building.

You can hear a man in the crowd saying, “This could go to the BBC… looks like we are going to the guys from White City”.

The crowd is then seen in footage outside the Television Center, where it is greeted by a heavy police presence.

Protesters start shouting ‘shame on you, shame on you’, with one giving a speech, accusing the company of ‘not giving the right information’ and claiming ‘they are coming for our f *** *** children ”.

A group of demonstrators then tried to break into the building, but were repulsed by the police.

Television Center was the headquarters of BBC Television until 2013, when broadcasting ceased after show production was moved to several other locations across the UK including Broadcasting House in central London and Media City in Salford. Much of the complex has since been converted into residential apartments.

The building the protesters tried to enter was that of BBC Studioworks, a commercial arm of the company that has retained and operated several studios at the site since 2017.

BBC Studioworks currently sublets two of its studios at the TV center to ITV for the production of daytime programs, including Hello Great Britain and Lorraine.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “We are aware of a group of protesters who, having left Shepherds Bush Green shortly after 1:00 pm, are now gathered outside business premises in Wood Lane, White City.

“There have been no arrests, but officers are present and will continue to monitor the situation. “

A BBC spokesperson said the company does not comment on security issues.
