Faye asked Teddy for a chat and ended up apologizing to him for the way she had treated him over the past few days.
“For me to react like that, I obviously care a lot about you,” she told him.
“I wouldn’t say sorry to anyone, sorry rarely leaves my lips. “
“The most important thing that I’ll always be sorry about is that Casa Amor hurt you,” Teddy replied.
“I’ll be honest, it’s not going to be that easy for me,” he added, as Faye started to cheer up.
“I just went into self-sabotage mode. I’m not going to ask you to forgive me right now, I’m not going to ask you that, ”Faye added as she started to cry.
Teddy then kissed her head tenderly, before the pair closed their lips and the rest of the islanders cheered.
However, viewers at home weren’t cheering at all and took to Twitter to accuse Teddy of playing a game.
“Teddy makes my blood boil #LoveIsland,” one person posted, while another added, “Teddy is a #LoveIsland grade A loser. “
A third tweeted: “I reserve hope Teddy plays the game as long as possible because there is no way such slavery exists #loveIsland.” “
Another said: “Either they’re both playing a big game or the teddy is just a BIG idiot #LoveIsland. “
Earlier, Faye had told the girls how she felt about Teddy, “It wouldn’t do for me to stay here without Teddy.”
“Although I lost my mind and did it completely the wrong way around, I wouldn’t have been myself if I hadn’t.
“I’ve obviously thought about it a lot the last few days and I want to be sorry and I want this to work with him. “
She added, “I have to crawl now, which is good, because I know what I want. Being a girlfriend now doesn’t sound so scary. ”
In Beach Hut, Faye said, “In the end, I’m sorry. I never think of the “future Faye”. In fact, I sabotage her everyday just by being a knot.
Later, Faye told Millie and Chloe, “I feel bad, I feel like I exploded like I did and I’m sorry for what I did and there is no excuse for that. There is no excuse for the way I just flew off, out of the grip. But, I just wanna go ahead with this.
Ahead of their fallout, the pair appeared to be the favorites to win the 2021 series when it ends on August 23.
However, it looks like Chloe and Toby are now popular with viewers since their reunion last week.
Love Island continues weekday evenings at 9 p.m. on ITV2.
