Vaccinated islanders visiting France have been warned by the Jersey government that they could face weeks of disruption.
As a result, people are denied entry to restaurants and shops because they do not have the correct QR code to prove that they are being double stung.
French President Emmanuel Macron announced that Covid passes will be required to go to a restaurant, shopping center, or board a train or plane.
To get a pass, people must prove that they are either fully vaccinated, have recently recovered from Covid, or have a new negative test result.
The Jersey government has said it is looking into the issue and engaging with French officials to clarify the situation.
They reminded islanders to check Covid requirements before traveling to their destination and to follow updated advice when they visit.
