TOWIE bosses have reportedly removed at least 10 cast members as the show goes through its biggest upheaval.

An insider said the move was down to bosses wanting to get back to basics with show veteran Chloe Sims and her sisters Demi and Frankie as well as Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell all believed they survived the showdown.

A source said: “With a constantly growing cast of characters, it was becoming difficult to give audiences a real glimpse into the lives of those involved.

“The producers want the show to go back to what it was when it started out, where audiences have seen a lot more of each character’s story and what they’re doing.

“The bigger the cast, the less time everyone spends on screen. They want to turn the tide and give less and more.
