Tokyo 2020 – Unprovoked Argentine hockey player hits Spanish opponent in the head with a stick at the Olympics – .

An Argentinian hockey player hit his opponent Spain in the head with a stick, seemingly unprovoked, in a bizarre post-game incident at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
After a 1-1 draw, Lucas Rossi approached David Alegre, who was on the ground with his legs stretched out for a cramp by an Argentine opponent, and stuck his stick under his head.

The incident sparked an uproar between the two groups of players, with Alegre and Rossi continuing to insult each other before the latter was taken away by his teammates.

It seemed completely out of sync with the buzzer’s emotions, as the two teams appeared to be on good terms, despite the Spanish linguistic rivalry, with Argentina sportingly helping Alegre’s fatigue.

But Rossi was furious until he returned to the locker room, and officials on both sides tried to calm him down.
