The opening date of the new Aldi store in Exeter confirmed by supermarket bosses – .

Economy supermarket Aldi has confirmed when it will be opening a new store in Exeter – with carts ready to hit the aisles at the end of the month.
The Exhibition Way store in Pinhoe – which was there before it was demolished in late 2020 to make way for a larger building – will bring 10 new job opportunities to the area and will welcome customers for the first time on July 29. .

The new store will feature fresh British meat products with weekly offers, Aldi’s award-winning ‘Specially Selected’ range, exclusive beers, wines and spirits and a ‘Food to Go’ section at the front of the store.

Aldi’s Specialbuys will also be available in the center aisle every Thursday and Sunday, offering great value on a wide range of products, from electrical items to garden tools.

Store Manager Mitchell Allen said: “We are really looking forward to opening the new Aldi store here in Pinhoe.

“It will be a great day and it will be nice to welcome local customers to the new store and give them access to affordable, high quality food. “

Additionally, the new Aldi store is calling on local charities and food banks in Pinhoe to register with Neighborly, a community engagement platform that connects businesses with local community charities.

Local charities that register will be able to collect surplus food and perishable items, such as fruits, vegetables and baked goods, up to five days a week.

The new store will be located on Exhibition Way, Exeter, and will be open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
