Wireless headphones, children’s books and various food items are among the items recalled by supermarkets.
Fears for the safety of items sold at Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons have led supermarkets to warn customers, reports Liverpool Echo.

The latest product recalls include a vegetarian lasagna sold at Sainsbury’s, which may contain meat, and Spar cakes which may contain sulfur dioxide.

Recalls of electrical products include headphones that may overheat and Ladybird books that could pose a choking hazard to children.

Customers who have purchased any of the affected products can get a refund or an exchange.

Hey Duggee and the Magical Unicorn books are recalled by Ladybird because the foil on the cover can be a choking hazard for small children.

Customers who have purchased a copy are asked to return it to the retailer from whom they purchased the book, in exchange for a refund.

Asda is among the major retailers that have stocked the book.

Parents are told to keep the book away from small children.
