Porsche has announced the arrival of the GTS models in its 911 sports car lineup. The five new enthusiast-designed vehicles sit in the middle – the sweet spot – of the existing 911 lineup above the standard Carrera and Carrera S models. , but below the powerful track-ready Turbo and GT3 models.

In addition to the increased power, Porsche offers GTS Coupé and Cabriolet models with upgraded Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) Sport with a 10mm lower ride height as standard equipment (Targa models retain the standard PASM suspension). Central locking wheels are standard, as is the sports exhaust system. The brakes are also upgraded to mirror those of the 911 Turbo model (Porsche’s PCCB carbon-ceramic brakes are optional).

The rear lights are also darkened. Satin black accents characterize the model designation, PORSCHE lettering and the charge air grille slats above the engine.

The interior is fitted as standard with Race-Tex upholstery, GT Sport steering wheel, Sport Chrono package, Porsche Track Precision app and four-way Sport Plus seats. Interior insulation is also reduced to save weight and improve visceral engagement with the new GTS models.

Porsche says the first deliveries to the United States are expected in early 2022 with a starting MSRP of $ 136,700.
