Photographer Mike Page took the photos on Saturday July 24 from the sky above Henham Park in Suffolk, showing how its green fields have been transformed.
Some 40,000 people are expected to take advantage of the three-day event – the first major UK festival to take place after ‘Freedom Day’ and the lifting of the majority of Covid restrictions on July 19.
Images show the colorful patchwork of tents, as well as festival-goers gathering on the Obelisk stage and thousands of parked cars.
The event, which is part of the government’s Events Research Program (ERP), runs through Sunday, starring Wolf Alice, who performed on Friday night, as well as The Chemical Brothers, Bombay Bicycle Club. and Bastille ReOrchestra.
