Prince Harry has written an explosive memoir about his life in the royal family which will be released next year, it has been revealed.
The Duke of Sussex, 36, has been secretly working on the book for almost a year, which he has since sold to Penguin Random House.
Prince Harry worked with Pulitzer-winning negro JR Moehringer in what is the first time a senior royal has written such a book.
The first draft of the manuscript, currently untitled, would be almost entirely written with the October deadline.
Proceeds from the deal will likely be worth millions and, although exact financial terms have not been disclosed, Prince Harry will donate them to charity, according to Random House.
Prince Harry confirmed: “I am writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become. I’ve worn many hats over the years, literally and figuratively, and I hope that by telling my story – the ups and downs, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that whatever. where we come from, we have more in common than you might think.
“I am deeply grateful to have the opportunity to share what I have learned over the course of my life so far and look forward to people reading a first hand account of my life that is accurate and totally. truthful. ”
