Man followed mum out of the Aldi store after realizing she couldn’t pay for her purchases – .


An Aldi customer was “shocked” after realizing that she was unable to pay for her purchases when she reached the checkout.
Posting on Facebook yesterday (July 25), the mother said she had shopped at Aldi’s on St Mary’s Road in Garston with her six-year-old son.

After reaching the checkout with her groceries, she found out that she had pulled out the wrong charge card and had to abandon some of her items at the checkout.

The mother said that she had left the supermarket and was putting the rest of her shopping in her car, a “lovely man” approached her with the bag of goods she was to leave behind.

She said she was “so shocked at the man’s kindness” that she forgot to ask for her contact details to refund the money.

Following this kind act, the mother posted on Facebook to thank the stranger for his generosity, but also for the opportunity he gave to explain to her six year old child “the importance of being kind” .

The message from the mother read: “So today, while shopping in Aldi on the Aigburth road, I got to the checkout and realized that I had taken out the wrong payment card. , so I left some shopping behind.

“Anyway, as I was packing my car, a lovely man approached the car with a bag of bits and pieces that I had left behind… [I] was so shocked at his kindness [I] did not ask for his contact details to refund this.

“So if you are a very nice person, please contact us because I would like to return the money to you.” “

“But thank you very much for being able to explain to my six year old son who was with me the importance of being kind.”
