The bombshell had its eyes on Hugo Hammond, with viewers urging him to finally find love on the show after weeks of on foot.
That was until he compared himself to a player and suggested he had options between the two new girls – suggesting he wasn’t that passionate about the newcomer.
This ultimately led to his exit from the show, as he didn’t choose her as planned in the latest and dramatic recoupling.
Instead, he saved Chloe Burrows from difficult fate after she was abandoned by her partner Toby in an unexpected and brutal turn.
Toby instead opted for new daughter Abigail Rawlings leaving fellow Islanders, and faltering Chloe – while the couple, who reunited a few weeks ago, had paddled a lot.
Chloe being abandoned, Hugo jumped in to save the day and prevent her from being sent home.
Toby was even called by his friend from Villa Hugo for his treatment of Chloe while he was choosing her.
Back in Georgia, and Hugo’s statement for Chloe meant that she had been sent to pack her bags then and there because Chloe had survived for at least another day.
Speaking about her release, she said she would not change anything about her stay in the villa.
She said, “No, not at all. It was really hard to get in and have only one person that interested me.
“When it didn’t pay off, I knew I was in a creek without a paddle. They were all lovely boys but I know what I’m looking for and none of them are.
“Lots of couples out there, they’re the right pair for each other, so I would have felt horrible, selfish and really mean if I had torn a couple apart if I wasn’t fully invested. “
Love Island airs nightly at 9 p.m. on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
