Loki has been confirmed to return for a second season.
The Disney + series, which stars Tom Hiddleston as a time-based variant of the God of Evil, made the announcement during a mid-credits scene in the Season 1 finale which released Wednesday, July 14.
In the scene, the Loki variant folder is shown before someone stamps it with a message revealing that Season 2 is in development.

A second season was recently rumored following a report from Weekly production, who suggested the show would resume filming in January 2022.
No release date for the return of the series has yet been revealed.
Loki was a hit for Disney +, with the opening episode setting a new record for the streaming platform racking up around 731 million minutes of viewing time.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Owen Wilson and Sophia Di Martino also starred in the first season.
Richard E Grant, who played Classic Loki, said in a recent interview that he “wouldn’t say no” to an MCU comeback, if asked to return.
Loki season 1 is broadcast exclusively on Disney+.
