Liverpool transfers – Saul Niguez deal and shocking Aaron Ramsey move – .

As Liverpool look to add new faces to Jurgen Klopp’s squad, a roster of different players is linked at Anfield every day.
With Ibrahima Konate the Reds’ only summer signing so far, fans are eager to see more newcomers signing on the dotted line.

Here’s a look at the latest rumors around the world and how likely they are to happen.

Manuel Locatelli

The Gazzetta dello Sport, annex Football Italy

Locatelli has been linked with a move away from Sassuolo throughout the summer, following his performances for Italy at Euro 2020.

Apparently attracting interest from Arsenal as well as Jurgen Klopp’s side, Juventus were believed to be leading the way to sign the 23-year-old.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Juve fell short of the asking price of € 40million, leaving the door open for Arsenal and another English club, believed to be Liverpool.

The Reds are looking for a new central midfielder and at this price they would demand a fee similar to Saul Niguez.

Initially seen as Juventus’ number one target, if Italian reports are correct, then Liverpool could sue Locatelli.

Domenico Berardi

Corriere della Sera par l’Express

The 26-year-old winger, fresh from Italy winning Euro 2020, has enjoyed his best season yet in the 2020/21 campaign, scoring 17 goals and assisting 8 more for Sassuolo.

After playing the same way for the Italian team the previous year, the Express says Liverpool are “fascinated” by his talent.

Diogo Jota proved to be a valuable addition to the Reds’ frontline last season and with reports continuing to tie Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi to departures from the club, Liverpool could be in need of reinforcements.

Leicester and Chelsea are also reportedly on the hunt for Berardi’s signing, but Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali said: “We want to keep Berardi, he’s our best player. “

Jarrod Bowen

The Daily Star

Bowen continues to be linked with Liverpool, with club sources refusing to rule out the Reds’ interest in the West Ham winger.

The 24-year-old was a key player for David Moyes last season as the Hammers advanced to the Europa League, scoring 8 and assisting 5 in the Premier League.

The Star reports that a move for Bowen is increasingly likely, as Xherdan Shaqiri approaches the exit door, but no offer has yet been made for the winger.

Aaron Ramsey

Ramsey has previously been linked with a move to Anfield as Liverpool continue their prolonged search for a new midfielder.

The Welshman is believed to be available with Juventus happy to offload the salary of the ex-Arsenal man and Ray Parlor believes the 30-year-old would be ideal for Jurgen Klopp.

“Exactly (Liverpool have to find a replacement for Wijnaldum) and he would score you goals from midfield,” he said.

Potentially available as part of a discounted deal, Ramsey could be an alternative for the club’s hierarchy if the Reds fail to meet their first choice goals.

Saul niguez

Make, go The mirror

The Spanish midfielder is a name that just won’t go away as Liverpool seek to find a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum.

Saul has been linked with other Premier League clubs, as well as a possible Barcelona swap deal for Antoine Griezmann, but Liverpool remain a candidate for his signing.

The latest news regarding the 26-year-old, according to Marca, is that Atletico Madrid have agreed to sell Niguez, who still have five years left on his contract with Atleti, but only at the right price.

With Liverpool raising transfer funds by selling several squad players this window, a move of £ 41million for Saul before the end of the summer could be likely.
