Lady Louise Windsor drove Prince Philip’s car in a touching tribute to the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
The 17-year-old daughter of the Earl and Countess of Wessex is passionate about horseback riding and, like her grandfather the Duke of Edinburgh, competed in driving competitions.

The annual event, which is the largest outdoor horse show in the UK, takes place over five days and includes international competitions in three different equestrian disciplines.

Lady Louise Windsor drove the car that belonged to her late grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, on the famous Berkshire show.

The Queen also attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show yesterday for the third day in a row and appeared delighted to be present at the event.

The Queen, 95, traveled with several guests to the event in a Range Rover herself and was pictured arriving shortly before 10 a.m.

Dressed casually for the occasion, she wore a navy waistcoat, blue cardigan, white shirt and light blue skirt with brown shoes.

Watching from her own separate seating area with her guests, the Queen seemed overjoyed to be at the event again this week.

She was pictured smiling as several different types of horses were taken out and presented.

Sophie, Countess of Wessex, explained last month how her “very private” daughter, Lady Louise Windsor, chose to flee social media.
