Kristen Bell admitted that her daughter’s name, Delta, was a “big disappointment” to hear amid growing cases of the coronavirus strain.

The 41-year-old actress has started to regret her choice of first name for her six-year-old due to the new variant that has quickly spread around the world, but she hopes the situation will change soon.

Kristen – who also has eight-year-old Lincoln with her husband Dax Shepard – replied, “That’s a big, big disappointment. But I really hope the delta variant won’t be as strong as the original COVID and people will still say corona.

Thankfully, Delta is still too young to realize the negative connotations her name has at the moment, and gets excited when she hears it mentioned in the news.

Kristen added, “She’s six years old so she’s in awe every time she sees an ad from Delta Airlines or whatever.

Earlier this year, Kristen admitted parenting her children during the global health crisis had been “very difficult” because there was so much to juggle.

The Frozen star admitted that therapy has been of great help in recent months.

She said: “Therapy has been important to us during the pandemic. We both rely on him, my husband and I, for our personal growth and ultimately to bring what we learn individually into the relationship.
