Kirk Norcross has revealed that he used cocaine for four days before, but has now been sober for three months.
The 33-year-old former TOWIE star, who described himself as a “general junkie,” said he “had a big old swing” when his father Mick committed suicide in January.
Speaking in a candid Instagram video, Kirk said he would spend hundreds of pounds on drugs and believes the addiction came from trying to cope with things he “couldn’t handle.”
Honest: Kirk Norcross revealed he used cocaine for four days, but has now been sober for three months after the tragic death of his father Mick
He said, “So my addiction was cocaine, fucking benders every week, four-day benders every week, spending money that I didn’t have…
“The main reason I took cocaine was because there were things I couldn’t handle. I couldn’t give you an incident because so much has happened.
‘But damn, I can’t handle this, I can’t deal with it, so I would come out of my madness thinking that this will solve the problem. It’s my addiction that tells me that.
“But what I realized now is that the problem I had, the reason I took the drugs, is still there. It’s not going to go away.

Tragic: The former TOWIE star, 33, who described himself as a ‘general addict with anything’, said he ‘had a big old swing’ when his father Mick took his own life in January aged 57 (pictured together in 2015)
“So I would go on a four-day bender, spend a few hundred pounds a day for four days, take time off work, so besides spending money, I’m not earning it.” I lock myself in my house.
“This problem is not always there, it will get worse because I bring so much shit with the drugs.
“Listen if someone has a little problem or whatever, picking up a ticket isn’t going to solve it.
“Your head goes out for that hour, two hours, three hours, four days, whatever you do. But that doesn’t solve anything, as I always say.

“It’s crazy how healthy you feel in such a short period of time, but give it a try guys. “

He said, ‘It’s all or nothing with me. I realized that I am addicted to everything. I am addicted to food, to cooking.
“If I do something, I have to do it. I’d go to the butchers and spend some stupid money that I don’t have, come in and cook food that I won’t eat.
“Drugs – I’d buy all the drugs, just sit here and ruin myself, kill myself enough.” I’m a general addict with everything. ‘
Kirk’s father Mick, who was the beloved owner of Essex nightclub Sugar Hut, committed suicide at his home in Bulphan on January 21.
During the investigation, it emerged that Mick was in financial difficulty and sold his Aston Martin, Range Rover and van, and cashed in his private pension.
His girlfriend Samantha Keahey told coroner Lincoln Brookes: “He thought he was plotting against”.
Kirk told the coroner at the Chelmsford inquest that he prayed for his father and even bought him lottery scratch cards to give him “hope” that he could overcome his financial problems and take his retirement.
In a statement read aloud by the coroner, Mick’s partner Sam said Mick has serious money problems and is losing sleep to support his family.
Heartbreaking: Kirk’s father Mick, who had been the beloved owner of Essex Sugar Hut nightclub, committed suicide at his Bulphan home on January 21
He had a £ 1.36million bank loan and a secured bridge loan against his Essex mansion and another £ million was needed to complete a development, which would be a luxury property near his home.
Mick was introduced to TOWIE as the owner of Sugar Hut nightclub, the scene of many of the show’s famous arguments between the cast members.
He left the show in 2013, claiming that the venue’s prominent place in the show had damaged his brand.
