John Mulaney officially filed for divorce from his six-year-old wife, Anna Marie Tendler.
Online court records seen by Fox News confirm that the former “Saturday Night Live” writer filed divorce papers in a New York court on Friday.
A representative for Mulaney first confirmed the couple’s split in May.
“John will have no further comments as he continues to focus on his recovery and return to work,” a rep for the comedian said. Sixth page at the time.

Meanwhile, Tendler’s statement through his representative said, “I’m heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage. I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery. “
The couple married in July 2014 in upstate New York.

Mulaney, 38, checked in at a drug rehab facility in Pennsylvania for 60 days in December, according to Page Six. He reportedly sought treatment for a relapsed cocaine and alcohol addiction and left the facility in February.
In early May, he announced his return to the stage with a five-day performance residency titled “John Mulaney: From Scratch”. It takes place at the City Winery in Manhattan from May 10 to 14. The shows sold out within minutes.
Mulaney is now rumored to be dating actress Olivia Munn.

Representatives for Mulaney and Tendler did not immediately return Fox News’ request for comment on Saturday.
