Daniel Agger signs ex-Liverpool team-mate for two-year contract
Former Liverpool defender Jon Flanagan has a new club and has teamed up with one of his former teammates.
Flanagan rose through the youth ranks at Anfield, progressing to the first team before eventually making 51 appearances for the club.
Having had stints with Bolton Wanderers, Rangers and Burnley on the CV, Flanagan was most recently with Belgian club RSC Charleroi.
Now, however, Flanagan has joined Danish club HB Koge, led by former Liverpool center-back Daniel Agger.
Flanagan signed a two-year contract and became one of Agger’s first recruits in his first job in football management.

Ibrahima Konate admits ‘weird’ goals as new Liverpool partnership begins
Ibrahima Konate expressed his joy at joining the six-time European Cup winners and playing alongside Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah in his first interview with the club since leaving RB Leipzig.
He is expected to feature alongside the Dutch captain at the pre-season camp in Austria and admitted that the returning Dutchman helped him in his opening week at the club, as well as Salah, Sadio Mane and his friend “from long standing ”Naby Keita.
Konate has been a welcome addition to Anfield’s ranks after the Reds were hit with injuries last season which saw them field more than 20 different defensive partners during the campaign.
And he also made an interesting admission on what to expect from him.
He said: “I can score more with my foot than with my head! It’s a little strange, but it’s me.
“I have those qualities – but I still have to work, more, more, more to become a good defender. “
