The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit has confirmed that a community member at La Niche des lionceaux daycare has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the Health Unit, the individual was in daycare during his infectious period on July 12, 2021.
La Niche des lionceaux voluntarily fired the entire community from the daycare.
The Health Unit works with the daycare to ensure that all high-risk contacts are contacted and self-isolate for a period of 14 days. No epidemic has been declared for the moment.
