Gods Among Us Movie gets its cast and release window – .

Warner Bros. finally revealed more about his animation Injustice: Gods Among Us film announced in May. The film, based on the popular fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios in 2013 and featuring its own comic book series, received its cast as well as its release window. Warner Bros. didn’t give a specific release date for the film, but it is slated for physical and digital release this fall.

TheHollywoodReporter reported on the entire cast list, which has many familiar animation names in it. However, no one from the video game series is reprising their role here. Here is the full list of actors:

  • Gillian Jacobs as Harley Quinn
  • Anika Rose as Catwoman
  • Janet Varney comme Wonder Woman

  • Zach Callison as Damian and Jimmy Olsen
  • Brian T. Delaney as Green Lantern
  • Brandon Michael Hall as Cyborg
  • Edwin Hodge comme M. Terrific et Killer Croc
  • Oliver Hudson comme Plastic Man

While the game’s voiceover talent was not picked up in the film, this Injustice: Gods Among Us the film has some creative flair of both Mortal Kombat Legends animated films. Rick Morales will be the producer.

A few others were transferred from other DC media. Matt Peters, known for having directed Justice League Dark: Apokolips War and his artistry on many other DC animated films, directs Injustice: Gods Among Us. Batman : Chut and Justice League: action writer Ernie Altbacker writes the script. The president of Warner Bros. Animation, Sam Register and Green Lantern: The Animated Series Producer Jim Krieg are executive producers.

This isn’t the only movie based on a NetherRealm Studios franchise coming out this year. Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms is set to release on August 31, 2021 in digital and physical storefronts. But it’s still unclear which game NetherRealm is working on because it recently stopped supporting. Mortal Kombat 11 instead of his next mystery project. Rumors circulated that it was a Marvel fighting game, while the studio’s model could indicate Injustice 3. It might even be something else entirely, but the Chicago developer didn’t say anything.
